SLIVERED ALMOND RICE 
1/4 c. butter
1 c. uncooked rice
1 med. onion, diced
1/2 c. slivered almonds
2 c. chicken broth

Melt butter. Saute rice, onion and almonds. Add chicken broth. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour into casserole. Dab with 2 tablespoons butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
