1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 eggs, well beaten
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Pour cake mix in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour butter and 1 egg over cake mix. Mix well and press mixture into pan. In a bowl, add cream cheese, 3 eggs, and box of powdered sugar. Blend well (until smooth). Add chopped nuts, if desired. Bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes (do not overcook).
