STUFFED MOCK TURKEY | |
1 1/2 qt. broken bread 1 c. crushed soda crackers 2 c. hot water 2 tbsp. oil 1/2 c. diced onion 1 c. diced celery 1/2 c. water 1 1/2 c. diced Chickette 2 eggs or substitute 2 tsp. sage 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp. marjoram 2 tsp. chicken seasoning Add hot water to bread and crackers in bowl; let stand 15 minutes. Saute onions and celery in oil. Add water to continue cooking ingredients. At end of 15 minutes combine all and mix well. Shape dressing into heaped oval form, adding bread crumbs to desired consistency. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 12. |
