BROILED PARMESAN POTATOES 
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 med. potatoes, bias sliced 1/4 inch thick
1/4 grated Parmesan or Romano cheese

Stir together butter and spices. Place potato slices on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Brush butter mixture over both sides of potato slices.

Broil approximately 5 inches from the heat for 8 to 9 minutes or until potatoes begin to brown. Sprinkle with cheese, broil for 4 to 6 minutes more until potatoes are tender. 4 servings.
