AUNT FANNIE'S BAKED SQUASH 
3 lb. yellow squash
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 c. Ritz crackers or bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 stick butter, divided
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Wash and cut up squash. Add onions and boil until tender, drain thoroughly. Add 1/2 cup cracker crumbs, eggs, 1/2 of butter and seasoning. Mix well and pour into buttered casserole dish.

Melt remaining butter and mix with 1/2 cup cracker crumbs. Sprinkle over squash and bake at 375 degrees for approximately 30 minutes or until browned.
