SORGHUM COOKIES 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. melted butter
1/4 c. sorghum

Sift together flour, baking soda, ginger, salt, and cinnamon. Beat egg, add sugar and sorghum. Mix well. Stir in butter. Add dry ingredients which have been sifted together.

Make dough into balls, approximately 1 inch in diameter. Dip balls into water and then roll and cover with white granulated sugar. Do NOT flatten. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
