2 lbs. hamburger (ground turkey (raw) or venison mixed with 1/2 the beef works well, just have a total of 2 lbs.)
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 egg
Mix above 3 ingredients well and form into meatballs. Set aside. Mix together the next set of ingredients to form sauce: 1 (16 oz.) cranberry sauce, whole or jelled 1 to 1 1/2 c. water 1 diced onion 1 to 2 diced carrots, depending on size 1/3 c. ketchup 1/3 c. brown sugar
Add meatballs to sauce, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours or put in crockpot on low, approximately 6 hours.
