FAMOUS PUMPKIN PIE 
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 (16 oz.) can solid pack pumpkin
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. clove
1 tall can (13 oz.) evaporated milk
1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust shell
1 1/2 jiggers Brandy

Mix filling ingredients in order given. Place pie on cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven (425 degrees) for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking for 45 minutes or until knife inserted near center of pie comes out clean. Serve garnished with whipped topping, if desired.
