2/3 c. corn syrup
6 c. Special K cereal
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. chopped almonds
1/4 tsp. almond extract

Cook corn syrup and sugar over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved and mixture bubbles. Remove from heat, stir in extract, add Special K and almonds. Stir until well coated. With back of spoon, press mixture into buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Cool, cut into bars.
