HERBED HALIBUT STEAKS 
2 lb. halibut steaks
6 tbsp. butter
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. tarragon
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. thyme
Dash nutmeg
Dash mace
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. fresh seasoned bread crumbs

1. Arrange steaks in baking dish; set aside.

2. Melt butter, saute garlic and onions until tender.

3. Add remaining ingredients.

4. Spread evenly over fish steaks.

5. Bake in preheated oven 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Fish should flake easily. Makes 4-6 servings.
