LEMON CRUNCH BARS 
1 1/3 c. soda crackers crushed fine
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. coconut
1 tsp. baking powder
3 beaten eggs
1 lemon, rind and juice
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter

For crust combine cracker crumbs, 3/4 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar, flour, coconut and powder; crumble together. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Press remaining into a 9 x 9 inch pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

For filling cook eggs, rind, juice, sugar and butter until thick, stirring constantly. When crust is removed from oven, spread with filling, sprinkle with reserved crust mixture and return to oven to brown slightly.
