LAYERED SALAD 
1 head lettuce, torn (may mix spinach and lettuce)
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1 c. mayonnaise
1 (1.18 oz.) pkg. creamy Italian salad dressing mix
2 boiled eggs, sliced
1 can English peas
1 sm. onion or 1/2 c. green onions
1/2 c. bell pepper
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Shredded Cheddar cheese

Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and salad dressing mix, stir well. Place half of salad greens (lettuce, spinach) in large salad bowl. Spread half of dressing mixture over the greens. Layer in order egg slices, peas, bell pepper, onion and bacon bits (saving a small amount for garnish), repeat until all ingredients are used. Add remaining greens to cover the top.

Spread the rest of the dressing mixture over the top, sealing to edge of the bowl. Sprinkle grated cheese and bacon bits that remain as a garnish. Chill overnight.
