BAKED RICE PUDDING 
1 qt. (4 c.) milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. rice, washed
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Combine all ingredients in greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake uncovered 2 1/2 hours or until rice is done, stir often.
