1 pkg. deep chocolate deluxe cake mix
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
Pecan halves, if desired

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Drop from teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. If desired, top each cookie with a pecan half. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees about 10 to 12 minutes.
