CHOCOLATE PECAN BAR 
14 oz. light caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk

MIXTURE #2:
2 c. flour
2 c. quick rolled oats
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. melted butter
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Melt #1 together in top of a double boiler.

Combine #2 and add melted butter. Layer in bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan this way: Half of #2; bake in 350 degree oven for 5 minutes. Then sprinkle chocolate and pecans on #2. Then pour #1 evenly over all. Add the last half of #2, pressing it down gently. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool and cut into bars. Very rich; cut em small.
