PUDDING POKE CAKE 
1 pound cake loaf
1 1/2 c. cold milk
1 pkg. instant pudding, chocolate flavor

Place cake on cookie sheet pan. Poke 25 to 30 holes into top of cake with handle of wooden spoon. (A straw may also work.) Pour 1 1/2 cups of cold milk into shaker. Add pudding mix. Put lid on shaker tightly. Shake for 45 seconds. (Be sure to hold top and bottom of shaker tightly.) Pour about 1/4 of pudding quickly over holes. Tap bottom of pan so pudding will go down. Pour 1/3 more over holes and tap again. Let rest of pudding stand 2 minutes to thicken. Frost sides and top with remaining pudding. Put cake into refrigerator to chill until serving time. Sprinkle with candy decorations if you wish.
