FRESH BERRY COBBLER 
4 c. blueberries, strawberries, blackberries or raspberries, washed and hulled
2/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. packaged buttermilk biscuit mix
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. milk

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease well 10 x 6 1/2 x 2 inch baking dish. Toss berries lightly with sugar and lemon juice. Put in baking dish. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter. In medium bowl combine biscuit mix, melted butter, egg and milk. Lightly mix with a fork. With spoon, drop dough over fruit. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream. Blueberries are best.
