WASSAIL 
2 qt. apple cider
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 (3") cinnamon sticks
12 whole cloves
4 c. grapefruit juice
4 c. orange juice
1 c. pineapple juice

Combine first 5 ingredients in a Dutch oven. Bring to a boil and cook until sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and heat just until hot (do not boil). Strain and discard spices. Serve hot. Yield: about 4 1/2 quarts.
