1 deluxe yellow cake mix
3 eggs
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. white sugar
1/3 c. oil
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavor
1/2 tsp. almond flavor

Mix dry cake mix, 1 egg, 1/3 cup oil, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Pat into 9 x 13 inch Pyrex ungreased cake dish, saving 1 cup of crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees on top shelf 15 minutes. Mix 2 eggs, cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, and 1/2 teaspoon almond flavor; beat until creamy. Add 3/4 pound chopped cherries or pineapple (not maraschino). Put on top of cake that is lightly browned. Add on top 1 cup crumbs. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup of pineapple or cherries. Bake another 15 minutes at 350 degrees until center is set.
