ZUCCHINI COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg, beaten
3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. shortening
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. molasses
1 c. grated zucchini

Sift together dry ingredients and set aside. Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, molasses and zucchini. Beat until blended. Add dry ingredients and raisins. Mix well.

Bake 10 minutes at 350°F. Remove at once and store in tight cover containers. Freezes well.
