COFFEE - CHOCOLATE CHIP COFFEE

1/4 lbs. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 pt. sour cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. instant coffee
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugar and add eggs, one at a time. Sift, then measure flour. Add salt, baking powder, soda and add to butter mixture and beat. Add flour mixture and sour cream, alternately; start with flour and end with flour on low speed. Then add vanilla. Grease pan, pour in 1/2 batter, 1/2 topping; then rest of batter and topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. (Should be moist to touch.)
