WALNUT CHERRY DELIGHT 
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. coconut
1 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling

Mix together flour, butter, brown sugar, coconut and 1 cup of nuts. Reserve 1/2 cup of this mixture for topping.

Bake the first layer in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan at 350°F for 15 minutes. Mix together cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla. Place this second layer over first layer.

Bake 10 minutes. Spoon cherry pie filling over second layer. Sprinkle the reserved dry mixture and nuts over top.

Bake 15 minutes. Serve warm.
