FEATHER CHEESE BREAD 
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
1/4 c. lukewarm water
About 3 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. boiling water
1 yeast cake or env.
1 egg

Dissolve cheese, sugar, salt and shortening in the boiling water. When this has cooled to lukewarm, add yeast which has been dissolved in the 1/4 cup lukewarm water. Beat in the egg and add enough sifted flour to make a soft dough. Turn out on floured board and knead well. Let rise until double in size, then knead again. Shape and place in greased standard size bread tin. Cover with cloth and let rise again until double in bulk. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 50 minutes.
