3 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. shortening

Mix like pie crust.

2 beaten eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in a little hot water

Mix all above and roll. Bake at 375 degrees. These are easy to roll out.
