CREAMY RICE PUDDING 
1/3 c. rice
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 qt. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. light cream

Combine rice, sugar, milk, salt, vanilla in a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 1/2 hour. Add cream. Bake additional 1/2 hour; do not stir. Sprinkle with cinnamon, grated lemon rind, or raisins may be added last 30 minutes.
