PEANUT BUTTER OATMEAL COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter flavored Crisco
1 c. peanut butter
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. water
1 egg
3 c. oatmeal (quick or old fashioned)
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Beat Crisco, peanut butter and sugar until creamy. Beat in water, egg and vanilla. Then add dry ingredients; mix well. Cover and chill about 2 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shape into balls. Press criss-cross with fork. Bake 10-11 minutes.
