Preheat oven to 275 degrees.

12 slices bacon, cut thin
6 half chicken breast
1 can mushroom soup
1/2 pt. sour cream (salt to taste)
1/2 c. Sherry (If desired)

Butter baking dish. Wrap bacon around chicken. Mix mushroom soup and cream together. Salt and pepper. Place some of mix in bottom of pan, lay chicken in dish. Cover with rest of soup and cheese.

Bake for 3 hours, skim off fat.

Remove cover from over the chicken.

Turn up heat to 375 degrees for 15 minutes to brown. Then add Sherry if you wish.
