BAKE - OFF AWARD WINNER:
CHARLIE'S LOW-CAL STRAWBERRY
DELIGHT
 
1 (16 oz.) Betty Crocker angel food cake mix
1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip lite
1 qt. fresh strawberries
4 sm. individual packets of Sweet & Low
1 med. size decorative clear glass or crystal bowl

Follow instructions on the Betty Crocker cake mix box and bake cake. While the cake is baking, wash the strawberries; pick out 12-15 strawberries to use as the final top garnish. Slice the remaining strawberries in thin slices.

Sprinkle the Sweet and Low over the strawberry slices and store in a ziplock in the refrigerator to chill them. Tear the Angel Food cake into nickel sized pieces and build a 2 inch layer in bottom of the glass bowl. Put one layer of sliced strawberries on top of the cake and cover with the layer of Cool Whip. Build a second 2 inch layer of cake on top of the first layer of Cool Whip. Cover the cake with layer of sliced strawberries and cover thee strawberries with the remaining Cool Whip. Garnish the top with the whole strawberries.
