SWEDISH MEATBALLS | |
2 lbs. ground beef 3 slices cinnamon toast, grated 1/2 grated onion 1 egg 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. allspice 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Add some milk Form small balls. Brown in oven at 350 degrees. Put meatballs in roaster and cover with gravy. Make from meat drippings which grease has been drained off. Can add Lawry's seasoned salt, some garlic and onion salt. Also add some Kitchen Bouquet and salt and pepper to taste. Thicken gravy with water and flour mixture. Bake 2 to 3 hours at 300 degrees. Serve with mashed potatoes. |
