SNOWBALL CAKE | |
1/2 c. raspberry jam, orange marmalade or cherry preserves 1 1/3 c. coconut, flaked 1 chocolate cake mixed 8 oz. whipped topping Prepare cake as directed, baking in three 8 inch layers. Trim 1/2 inch ring from outer edge of 2 of the layers. Assemble cake, spreading the jam between the layers and placing the trimmed layers on bottom and top with full layer in the middle. Frost with whipped topping, round edges to resemble the shape of a snowball. Sprinkle with coconut. |
