SMOTHERED PORK CHOPS 
4-6 pork chops
1 c. water
1/2 can French fried onions
1/2 c. sour cream
1 can mushroom soup
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 tbsp. parsley flakes

Brown pork chops and place in glass casserole, salt, and pepper. Mix and heat soup, water, and thyme. Add onions, parsley, and sour cream. Mix. Pour over chops, cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Top with remaining onions and bake 5 minutes more. Serve with rice.
