OLD FASHION CHOCOLATE PIE 
1 baked pie crust
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. cocoa
3 eggs
2 c. sweet milk
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, flour, and cocoa together until blended well. Separate eggs. Beat egg yolk, adding milk and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients. Mix well. Add butter, cook in double boiler until thick. Pour into baked crust.

MERINGUE:

3 egg whites
6 tsp. powdered sugar

Beat whites at high speed until frothy, then add 6 teaspoons of powdered sugar. Continue beating until rounded peaks are formed. Spread on pie and bake at 350 degrees. This recipe has been in my family for 40 years.
