APPLE - PECAN BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
4 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. In large mixer bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients; stir just until blended. Fold in apples and nuts. Bake about 1 hour. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack, then wrap and let stand overnight before slicing. 1 loaf.
