CROCK POT STEW 
1 lb. stew meat
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. oil
1 onion, chopped
3 med. potatoes, peeled & cut up
3 carrots
1 lg. can beef broth
1/2 can water
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 c. catsup

Dust beef with flour and brown in oil. Add onions and saute. Transfer to the crock pot and add all the remaining ingredients except catsup. Cook on low for 8 hours and 30 minutes. Before serving, thicken with 3 tablespoons cornstarch thinned in 1/4 cup water. Add to stew and let thicken on high. Add catsup. If you like frozen peas in stew, add when thickening.
