3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 oz. Jello (cherry or lime; great for Christmas)
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter. Add 1 cup sugar and Jello. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir baking powder into flour. Gradually add flour to the wet ingredients. Force through cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 minutes at 400 degrees. Decorate, if desired. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
