BUTTER BALLS 
1 c. butter
1/4 c. very fine sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted cake flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and mix well. Add flour and mix thoroughly. Fold nuts into mixture. Shape into small balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 350 degrees for about 18 minutes. Cool and roll into confectioners' sugar.
