1 c. shortening
1 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour

Cream shortening. Add unbeaten eggs, and cream until smooth. Add flour, baking powder and salt and mix well. Add milk and vanilla and mix. Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness and cut as desired. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 7 minutes or until golden. Ice when cooked with powdered sugar icing flavored with almond extract.
