HAM/BROCCOLI BREAKFAST STRATA | |
12 slices firm white bread 12 oz. sharp process cheese, sliced 1 (10 oz.) frozen whopped broccoli, cooked and drained 2 c. diced fully cooked ham 6 slightly beaten eggs 3 1/2 c. milk 2 tbsp. instant onion 1/4 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. salt 1. From the bread, cut 12 doughnuts and holes with a doughnut cutter. 2. Fit the scraps of bread in bottom of buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. 3. Layer slices cheese, cooked broccoli and diced ham over bread. 4. Arrange doughnuts and holes on top. 5. Put eggs in medium mixing bowl. Beat with a rotary beater. Add milk, onion , mustard and salt; beat to blend; pour over bread. 6. Cover. Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight. 7. Bake, uncovered, in preheated 325 degree oven for 55 minutes. 8. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Serves 12. |
