COCOA FUDGE CAKE 
1 2/3 c. all purpose flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. baking cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. Saco buttermilk powder
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Have ingredients at room temperature. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan, or two 8 or 9 inch layer pans. Sift together dry ingredients in large mixer bowl. Add remaining ingredients. Blend 1/2 minute on low speed, scraping bowl constantly. Beat 3 minutes on high speed, scraping bowl constantly. Pour into pan(s). Bake in oblong pan 35-40 minutes, layer pans, 30-35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Frost as desired.
