GRANDMA'S BRISKET | |
1 brisket of beef, any size 1 onion 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup 1 can tomato soup 1 c. water In a large pan slice the onion. Put 1/2 package onion soup on top of the onion. Place the brisket in pan. Sprinkle with the rest of the soup mix. Put in 1/2 cup water. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees until tender (about 20 to 30 minutes per pound). When done, let cool, then slice meat thin. Pour tomato soup on top and add 1/2 cup water. Bake for an additional hour. |
