4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. orange slices, diced
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cold water
2 c. flour
1 c. nuts, chopped

Beat eggs together well and add brown sugar. Then add cold water and vanilla; beat. Sift flour and soda together and add to the first mixture. Lastly, add orange slices and nuts.

Bake in moderate oven in oblong pan. Cut into squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
