SMOTHERED CHICKEN 
3 chicken breasts, halved
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. milk
1 c. uncooked rice
1 can water
1 pkg. onion soup mix (Lipton's)

Remove skin from chicken. Dry lightly and brown in melted butter or Pam. Place in buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle rice over chicken. Mix can of soup, water, milk and onion soup mix. Pour over chicken. Cover tightly and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

You may have to add a little more water while cooking. Serves 6.
