MOCK JAM 
5 c. green tomato, pureed in blender
4 c. sugar
2 (3 oz.) or 1 (6 oz.) Jello, strawberry or raspberry

Add to pureed tomatoes the sugar in saucepan. Simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat. Skim off foam. Add Jello and stir until dissolved. Pour into sterilized jars and seal. Makes 8 small jam jars.

I cut recipe in half, to use more jello flavors. I used a submersible blender & puréed up the cooked chopped tomatoes. Then added the jello & mixed well. I put in hot jelly jars & processed in hot water canner for 10mins. Turns out great! Use for gifts.
