2 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter
1 c. sour milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
4 eggs

Blend butter and sugar well. Add one egg at a time, combine well. Add soda to sour milk. Combine flour, cinnamon and cloves and add alternately with sour milk. Mix well with electric beaters until smooth. Before putting in oven, sprinkle top with cinnamon and sugar. Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
