DUMP CAKE 
1 (1 lb. 6 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 (22 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 (18 1/2 oz.) yellow cake mix
2 sticks butter
1 c. coconut, optional
1 c. chopped nuts, optional

Dump pie filling in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Dump in pineapple; sprinkle dry cake mix over pineapple. Pour melted butter evenly over all. Sprinkle with coconut and nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with ice cream and whipped cream. May be used with different flavored pie fillings or cake mixes.
