My go to recipe. Lighter than regular cheesecake. I substitute chocolate graham crackers, take about 1 cup batter, add cocoa mix stir and then swirl into cheesecake batter. My hubby and son's favorite!

I have been making this cheesecake Since Dinah had her own TV show. No other is quite like it. A little drier than the usual NY cheesecakes. I use a little more sugar, add. 1 tsp of cornstarch to the mix and Also use less butter in the crust. Everyone loves it!!!

I ONLY use this recipe! It gets lots of compliments. To put my personal touch on it and make it "mine," I use gingersnaps and pecans for the crust. YUM! YUM!

I've had this recipes ever since Dinah Shore baked it on her talk show, that aired in the seventies. I just baked this past weekend and everyone loved it. I topped it off with raspberry sauce. Its not real real sweet and very light. Give it a try. choose you own topping.
