SEVEN LAYER DREAM SALAD | |
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime, orange, lemon & orange Jello 1 1/2 c. water to each pkg. Jello 2 c. milk 2 env. unflavored gelatin 1/2 c. cold water 1 pt. sour cream 1 c. sugar 2 tsp. vanilla Soften gelatin in cold water. Bring milk to a boil; add sugar and dissolve. Add softened gelatin and cool slightly. Add sour cream and vanilla and beat with hand mixer. Set aside to cool, but keep at room temperature. In 4 separate containers dissolve each package of Jello in 1 cup boiling water, then add 1/2 cup cold water to each. Oil a 9"x13" dish. Pour in lime Jello and refrigerate until firm. Add 1/3 of cream mixture and refrigerate until firm. Continue with remaining Jello and cream mixture, ending with the cherry Jello on top. Make sure each layer is firm before adding each addition. Refrigerate 4 to 5 hours. |
