SALMON PARTY LOG | |
1 lb. can red salmon, boned 1 tbsp. lemon juice (fresh preferred) 2 tbsp. grated onion 1/4 tsp. slat 1/4 tsp. charcoal flavor (or 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce) 3 tbsp. fresh parsley, snipped fine 8 oz. pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened 1 tsp. horseradish 1/2 c. chopped pecans Combine all ingredients except nuts and parsley. Chill for several hours. Then shape into log and roll in the nuts and parsley. May be made a day or two before serving. One of the appetizers for which my grandmother is known! |
