CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 c. bran flakes, crushed to 1 1/2 c.
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
12 oz. chocolate chips

Stir together bran flakes, flours, and soda. Set aside.

In large bowl, beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs, beat well. Add flour mixture and chocolate chips. Mix well. Drop by level 1/4 cup measure onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 12-14 minutes or until lightly brown. Yield: 16 cookies.
