SAUSAGE AND POTATOES AU GRATIN 
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 c. sliced potatoes
1 (8 oz.) pkg. small sausages, cut into bite-size pieces
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Combine soup, milk, onion, salt and pepper. Place 1/2 potatoes in greased 2-quart casserole. Add 1/2 sausage. Cover with 1 1/2 soup mixture. Repeat layers. Dot with butter. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Remove cover, sprinkle with cheese, and bake uncovered 15 minutes more.
